I am a hopeless romantic, and therefor enjoy reading romantic stories. Clean romanse is hard to come by these days at least if you want a contemporary story. When i got a chanse to read and revew Danielle Fergusons book "Sweet confections" I jumped at the chanse.
This is a sweet story both figurativly and litterary. First of all the carakters are easy to like and the romance unfolds in a very sweet way. To add to the sweetnes the heroinne runs her own bakery that I really would like to visit, and the descriptions of her pastry will make your mouth water. As a bonus some of the recepies are included at the end of the book so those who are inclined to baking may give them a try.
I allso liked that although the book seemed very predictable from the start everything is not as it seems. Is the old boyfriend as bad as he seems? Is the new boyfriend too god to be true? and who is the mysterious person who hires a private detective?
